The General Assembly elected a new presidency of PTIA for 2017. Since January 1, the CEO was Jarosław Michalak (Michelin) and Vice-Presidents Ham Jeong Seung (Hankook) and Giansimone Bertoli (Pirelli).

Jarosław Michalak, Managing Director, Chairman of the Board of Michelin Polska S.A.
Jarosław Michalak graduated with a Master of Economic Sciences degree from the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, Poland.
Mr. Michalak began his career at Michelin in Finances in 1993. Then he held independent positions in the Personnel Service. In 2002, he was appointed Director of Personnel and a Member of the Board of Michelin Polska S.A.
From 2008 to 2010, Mr. Michalak managed production at a Michelin manufacturing plant in France. After returning to Poland in 2011, he was appointed Director of the Michelin Passenger Car Tyre Plant (TC) in Olsztyn. In 2013, he was again appointed a Member of the Board of Michelin Polska S.A.
In 2014, Jarosław Michalak was appointed Director of the Michelin Polska S.A. Plant in Olsztyn, and then Managing Director and Chairman of the Board of Michelin Polska S.A. in 2016.
The Olsztyn plant of the Michelin Group is the one of the largest Michelin production plants worldwide. With 4,500 employees, Michelin Polska S.A. is also the biggest employer in the Warmia and Mazury region. The Commercial Head Office of Michelin Polska S.A. is located in Warsaw.
