On Tuesday, 6 August 2013, Piotr Konopka, HR Director of Michelin Poland SA and Iwona Żochowska from Foundation "Future for Children" have donated optical equipment to the Children's Hospital in Olsztyn, for the youngest patients who will be diagnosed now with high-tech equipment for eye diseases.
These devices purchased by Michelin are auto-refractor and tonometer. The first of these is a computer-controlled machine used during examination of eye visual acuity, the second is used for measuring intra-ocular pressure.
